Along with the group sessions, Kirk created a half iron man training plan for me (I beat my goal time by over an hour!) and we are currently working on a lifting/cardio plan (he also wrote me a list of what I should buy at the grocery store, kind of nice to have too :).
I ran track in college and have always been active, but it has been difficult for me to stay motivated on my own. Kirk is extremely motivating and you can tell he loves what he does and wants others to be excited about fitness. If you’re looking for a personal trainer I would highly recommend Kirk!

I came to Kirk while I was stuck in a 6-month plateau and just about ready to give up in reaching my goal of losing over 100lbs. He quickly changed that! I was sold about 5 minutes into my first session with him! I decided after the workout that day and talking to him that I needed to return. He wants to know where you’re coming from as far as your goals and what made you reach out to him and cares about you getting to your goals, he wants to be your friend.

When I worked with a trainer at one of the local big chain gyms in the past they worked out with me for 30 minutes a week and couldn’t care less about what I did outside the gym. Not with Kirk! I have been a competitive runner for many years In HS I placed 7th in the state during my first year of cross country. I had a good coach. I then went on the earn a scholarship to run track and cross country in college. I was the number two runner on a nationally ranked team. I had a very good coach. After college I started running marathons and half marathons. I hired a coach to help me train for my first marathon. I ran it in 3:30. He was a really good coach. I then hired a woman who was a professional body builder to help me with my weight training. She knew her way around the weight room and taught me great workouts but she had no clue as to how to devise a weight training workout to support my running. Recently my workouts were becoming stale and I felt like I needed a fresh start.
I heard about Kirk on Twitter. I saw that he was, himself, a nationally ranked runner which is no small feat. I hired Kirk and trained with him for just a little over a month before I raced a half marathon. Not only did I come in 17th out of 1,225 women, but I shaved off four minutes from my time from the same race and course from last year. Kirk is an EXCELLENT coach. Hiring him was the smartest thing I have ever done for my running career. He knows how to incorporate the right amount of strenght training into my workouts and he writes out weekly running workouts for me. He tells me how far, and how fast I need to run for everyday of the week. He wrote out a menu plan for me telling me what foods I should be eating. If I have a question during the week all I have to do is shoot him and email and he gets back to me right away.
Not only is Kirk the BEST coach/personal trainer I have ever had, and I have had a lot, but he is genuinely a nice guy. He wants nothing more for you to succeed and reach your goals. He is a motivator, he has helped me rediscover my passion for running. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or a novice to the gym, Kirk will do whatever he can to help you reach your personal goals. In-Person Personal Training
Travis Eisenbraun was my personal trainer at Lifetime Fitness for 6 months. He is particular about form and I was glad for the instruction. There were multiple exercises I thought I was doing right, but wasn’t. He pushed me harder than I push myself, but not to the point where I felt like a failure. There was always encouragement. He was receptive to any concerns I had. For example, I had ankle pain as a result of my job. He worked diligently to find some exercises to help me.
He is polite and professional with an easy going personality. I enjoyed my workouts and the hour would always fly by. Each week he set up a new set of exercises and I was never bored. I highly recommend him a s a personal trainer.

I have trained with Travis for close to 3 months now. I’ve had personal training before, many years ago when I considered myself still “young”. I’m approaching 60 and feeling those aches and pains from past athletics, women’s softball, volleyball, instructing universal circuits and long distance running. This year I have felt the effects on my knees and was about ready to see an orthopedic surgeon. Instead I signed up for training with Travis.
After 3 months, I don’t have knee problems any longer. Travis has progressively worked with me to build strength in my lower body to take the pain away. At the start of the new year, I was encouraged to work with a personal Trainer by advertisement . At first, I had reservations about the process but I was assured that I would be put with a trainer that would best fit me. I was a bit concerned that a young super fit guy could relate to a 60 plus old guy with a sore back but that concern was put to rest quickly. I trained with Travis Eisenbraun from January to June 2016. I went to him looking for guidance for gaining strength and losing weight.
I have had problems with my shoulders in the past and have had surgery on one. Travis was great at building a training program to help strengthen muscles around my shoulder without putting stress on the joint. I also have other physical limitations from past injuries and Travis was very creative in coming up with workouts that were safe and effective. Travis is easy to talk to and understands his clients needs. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a full body strengthening and wellness program.

My name is SGT Jon Goergen, I have 14 years in EMS/Rescue and 8 years in the army. These experiences have allowed me to learn a lot about fitness, both mental and physical, and body mechanics. Along with this, the Military teaches a lot about Loyalty, integrity, and going the extra mile “I shall shoulder more than my fare share 100% and then some.”
Why am I sharing this with you? Well it brings what I am about to tell you about Travis Eisenbraun more into light.
Mental And Physical Toughness: Travis helps train not just the body but the mind as well. His weekly email articles and daily messages give you pointers on everything from diet to how to keep your mind sharp and rested. While physically training with you he takes on the role that is needed to keep you mentally fit while you work hard through his personally designed for you routines. When you need extra definition to help get your mind around what the routine is doing, he takes the time get your head wrapped around it. He does this because as well all know everything is 90% mental and a mere 10% physical.
Body Mechanics: Travis knows the most important key to really improving both physical strength and your definition is body mechanics. Every time you start a new routine with him, and even ongoing routines, he puts heavy emphasis on your body mechanics and posture.
Going the extra mile: Travis really emphasizes his desire to go that extra mile for his clients. For example he was working on Memorial Day 2016 in order to better serve his client’s needs. In addition to his schedule, he goes above and beyond by checking in with his clients via text or phone calls, checking their attendance and giving them that extra push they need to get into the gym, and designing specific routines based on your needs or goals. He pays close attention to you concerns and really focuses his routines on your progress and needs.
In short I just want to reiterate for you how much Travis is dedicated to his job and the needs of his clients. He is very friendly and people oriented. He loves to make small talk during resting periods and make his clients comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable in workout routines, stretching and nutrition. One thing that exemplifies Travis is when he doesn’t know the answer right off the bat he is not afraid to ask around to other professionals and find out the answer and present you with not only the answer but the research as well. Case in point when I was asking him about caffeine intake for workouts. How much should you take and what kind is the best for you, and within two days he had researched it and written a weekly article with that subject in it. It was both informative and cited his sources so that I could look them up as well.
I strongly recommend Travis as a Physical Trainer. He is an excellent choice whether you are interested in strength training, learning form, or just weight loss. He is an excellent trainer that works well with your needs and tailors your workout and nutrition for your needs.

So the short story is that Travis is hands down the best trainer you will ever work with! He is a genuine expert, and combined with his enthusiasm this expertise produces dramatic results. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
The long story is when I first started training with Travis I was all about how much weight can I lift, but I always seemed to hit a plateau and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn’t get past it. He taught me that my main focus should be my form and muscle mind connection and then the weight would naturally come with work and boy did it come. With correct form and muscle-mind connection I am now lifting more than I ever thought possible! Also, I was eating about 1,200 calories and was wanting to cut. Travis acknowledged that my main goal was to cut but he said our first priority was to get my calories up where they needed to be and then start cutting from there. With his help I was eating 3,000 calories a day and when I started cutting I was eating even more than I was when I initially wanted to cut.
Not only is he a phenomenal trainer but he is even a better person! He genuinely cares about his clients and will take the time to get to know each and every one of them. Travis takes training and your goals seriously but makes your session fun, he jokes and will even bust out a dance move if your lucky! He will learn your limits and strengths as you train and push you as hard as he knows YOU can go. He is always there to answer your questions and if he doesn’t know the answer he will research until he has the answer for you. Without a doubt Travis is the most positive, supportive and caring coach. You’re going to benefit immensely from his knowledge of health and fitness, his wicked sense of humor, sincere encouragement and his kick ass fitness plans.

I have been working with Travis on a weight loss and healthy living journey for about the last year and a half. It has been such a positive experience for so many various reasons. I have had many different obstacles that we have had to work with. Weight loss has been very difficult for me. Through all the frustrations and hurdles, Travis has been so amazing.
